About the Project
ICT Egypt strived to create change in Egyptian society by providing Egyptian youth with the basic skills needed in today’s job market. ICT Egypt provided training in computer programs and world languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Arabic. Classes were taught by volunteers, all native speakers of their respective languages. In addition, life skills education seminars were held, including:
- Management Skills,
- Organizational Skills,
- Time Management,
- Resume Building,
- Interviewing Skills,
- Public Speaking and
- Presentation Skills,
- Communication Skills,
- Work Attire,
- Critical Thinking,
- Professional Health,
- Leadership Skills,
- Team Work.
Since its establishment in 2006, Better World trained more than 10,000 Egyptian youth, arming them with the tools that can change their quality of work and their quality of life.
